About me
Hi there! I’m Ally Guba, an actor, singer, dancer, and proud dog parent located in NYC. I was born in Japan (no, I sadly don’t have citizenship) but spent the majority of my young life in Dallas, TX. There I spent my time getting onstage anywhere that would let me and enrolled in voice lessons and dance & acting classes throughout the Dallas area.
I recently graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Acting and a concentration in Musical Theatre. I spent the last four years training in voice, dance, voice and speech, movement, and various acting techniques such as Stanislavsky, Meisner, Viewpoints, Shakespeare, TV and Film, and British comedy.
My passion for hard work also earned me a spot on the Dean’s List all four years. In addition to my academic achievements I also performed in several Marymount productions such as Starlight Express at the National Dance Institute and We’re Gonna Be Okay in MMC’s Black Box theatre as well as in the York Theatre’s NEO Benefit concert.
I love creation and collaboration and I jump at any opportunity to make art. I approach my work with empathy and honesty and nothing makes me happier than the stories we’ve created touching an audience. Welcome-feel free to explore my site and follow my socials. I hope to start working together soon!

Ally came into my class with a beautiful full-bodied soprano voice and the willingness to physically explode the limitations of how a soprano holds herself. I’ve seen her bravely experiment with a wide variety of characters from Marian in The Music Man, to Luisa in The Fantasticks, and most recently, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. Each time, she works to vocally and physically transform to live inside these very different women. Each time, I see improvement week-to-week. She is a worker, she doesn’t settle, and ultimately these qualities will continue propelling her forward.
let’s work together
